I am a proud graduate of The Jackson Olin High School in Birmingham, Alabama class of 1999 in which I completed the vocational program in Automotive Technology. I was awarded the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Inc. (VICA) State and National honors, and state and national placement, winning cash scholarships and new vehicles from various manufacturers awarded to the automotive program at the high school. I went on to complete an Associates Degree in General Automotive Technology at Bessemer State Technical (2001). I am an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified mechanic passing 8 rigorous tests in various automotive categories as well I complete annual continuing education to stay abreast of current automotive service standards.

I started my career at Firestone Automotive in 1997 as an express lube and tire technician, moving on to Midfield Dodge as an Express Automotive Repair Technician. I spent 9 years with Midfield Dodge where I was promoted to several positions within the company including engine specialist, suspension specialist, electrical specialist, and diagnostic specialist. Midfield Dodge is also where I started to build my professional salesman's experience and managerial skills as a service advisor, assistant service manager, general car salesman, commercial vehicle salesperson, and special finance manager. In 2007, I moved to a smaller local used car dealership to follow my passion for managing all aspects of a small car lot. At this dealership I was an active buyer and account manager. In 2013 I moved to Jim Burke as a service advisor. In 2014 I started my first business, E-Reed Automotive, a mobile automotive repair service, offering over-the-road and concierge services. In 2020, E-Reed Automotive became Benny Wheels, LLC, my first brick-and-mortar automotive repair shop and used car dealership, aimed at providing excellent customer service, an exceptional automotive repair experience, and honoring the community in which I grew up and where I started my automotive career.
